About Gabriel Gerber Hornink

Holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Campinas-Unicamp (2003), degree in Biological Sciences at Unicamp (2006), specializing in environmental management from Unicamp (2006), Master of Functional and Molecular Biology (Biochemistry, subarea Education) (2006) and PhD in Science (2010), both at Unicamp. He has experience in General Biology, with emphasis on training teachers for using IT in teaching, acting on the following topics: educational software, distance education, teacher formation. Currently, he work as a professor of Biochemistry and Educational Software Development at the Federal University of Alfenas (Unifal-MG), which also acts in the technological nucleus at the Center for Open and Distance Education – CEAD.

CEAD IT team wins in third place the Innovation Award in the National University Management

Teaching staff and trainees of the Technological Center of Open Education Center and the Distance of the Federal University of Alfenas da UNIFAL-MG received on 05/12, the third in the National Innovation Award in University Management Professor João David Ferreira Lima, sponsored by the National Research Institute and Studies in University Administration (INPEAU).

Public employees presented papers in international university management event

The professor Gabriel Gerber Hornink and the administrative assistente Erica Nicacio presented  paper in the “14º Colóquio Internacional de Gestão Universitária (CIGU)” in Florianópolis-SC, 03-05 Decenber 2014.
